Older, needed to be updated and beds were not comfortable

It was quite,off main Street. Staff was friendly.amazing tub in room. The old/ rustic feeling. Finding the notes on the tins was my favorite part!

We had a little visitor in our room . He was just as scared as us lol. Didn't see him again lol.

Water pressure was good.

The cleanliness was not good. Needs a good bleaching. There were spiders and bugs in all rooms. Mold in one of fridges. Needed to be vacuumed. No towel for floor after shower. The price what high for the rooms. We had stayed in hotels all week for travel and this place was the highest we paid. Our mirror had "Happy Valentines Day" written on it? - never cleaned.

Room 25 had bed bugs, the tub was black with filth, and one of our towels had a wad of something sticky with hair in it. When we tried to talk to the clerk about the issues and wanting to cancel our second night, they said the manager would be in at 10:30 a.m, that we needed to talk with them. We left the property at 8 a.m., returning the key with the clerk. I messaged the motel through my Expedia reservation, and have not heard back from them. I requested a refund. I took a picture of the bed bug for evidence. I have never stayed in a room that filthy before. The carpets weren't vacuumed, there were sprays of brown liquid on the walls, the comforters were stained, and the curtains were stained both in the room and bathroom. The motel was creepy and run down. The "office" is someone's bedroom with a drive through window. So, when you check in, you see their living quarters and their bed. The pictures online do not match the actual motel. 100% do not recommend.

The rooms are quite comfortable.

I did not like the level of cleanliness nor the hospitality of the manager. When I checked in I informed him that I had my dog with me (part of the reason I chose to stay at the Nova over other motels). He informed me that there was a pet fee, which I paid. What occurred afterwards ensured that I will never return to the Nova, nor will my family. Every single time my fiancee or sister took my dog out to use the restroom the manager harassed them for a pet fee and did not bother to check which room the dog belonged to. By which I mean he shouted at us across the parking lot over and over demanding payment. On the second day of our visit this behavior persisted. Apparently, after hostly demanding payment multiple times already, he stated he had not charged me for both days of our booking. Even though it had been made clear on the reservation and when I checked in how many days we were staying. We were on our way to a wedding (which was the purpose for our visit) and the manager would not let us leave without paying again for the pet fee, causing us to be late. He did not apologize nor seem to care that he had made my entire group uncomfortable over a simple $25 fee that could have also been paid at checkout. I believe hospitality is one of the most important aspects to having a successful business and making your guests comfortable, apparently the people that run this motel do not feel the same. The rooms could have been much cleaner if anyone bothered to dust. There were also light fixtures around the room that had no outlet to plug them into, so they were just dusty decorations. The shower is too small to turn around in or to avoid the coarse and aggressive water pressure. As I stated before, I will never be staying here again.

Staff rude, made sure to tell us 8 times checkout is 10a which I knew. The sign next to the door in the room says checkout is 11a.

We booked a two night stay at the property. We were put in a room that had a very "old, tangy" odor. People were very loud outside of the room for half of the night. There was only one electrical outlet in the room and the tv and refrigerator were plugged into it. No place for phone charger. We were given a different room the second night which was a bit nicer, but the refrigerator was on a bench and was very tippy when opened. It had a fairly large dent in the door, which I assume, came from a fall. It was cheap though.
