Lily Hall-A Boutique Hotel

This is a charming and unique property. Everything was extremely clean, and well thought out. It’s a bit quirky in that there is no front desk but rather you receive codes to access your room. Where I struggled is that my room was a “Pilar” room, that felt like I was staying in the basement. Not the kind of spot you want to be for several days. Additionally, the mandatory 10:00am checkout time was frustrating and awkward (I travel a lot and have never seen this from a hotel). Overall, hard to justify the premium price they charge.

A/C never got room cool.

Loved the decor but the building seems older so the plumbing wasn’t the best. I also hated the fact the parking space was so limited. Overall the staff was great and responsive.

The decor and setting were marvelous. The structure is solid and beautifully appointed inside and out. Our room exuded comfort, cleanliness, creativity and details that many hotels either over deliver or just fall short. You have a gem in Pensacola. A perfect location to be close to Saenger Theatre. The food and bar were very much enjoyed. My wife and I loved the restaurant and staff. A pleasant meal and a late drink before retiring to out

I was surprised by the added costs. Warnings of costs were delivered but I didn’t expect the to our plush room.

Beautiful room and bathroom. There isn't a front desk person but we chatted with Kari on the phone and we were able to check in a little early which was lovely! Totally would go back again! We had Sunday brunch at Brother and Fox the restaurant attached, was excellent!

Wonderful room and atmosphere. Absolutely fabulous restaurant and bar. John the bartender is friendly engaging and mixes amazing drinks. Dinner rates above anything I have experienced in Florida. Rates on my top five of all worldwide cuisines.

Great location with many walkable restaurants and bars.

We stayed two nights. Here is my good and bad, beware I’m picky. Checking in requires a code for the exterior, liked that it helps with safety. Not having a person there to offer help was odd. Our room was on the first floor, with a door to the adjoining room and a room directly above. The walls and ceiling and doors are thin. We could hear the conversation in the next room, we heard the upstairs neighbors. The room itself is adorable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. A few stains on the trim and the bathroom door. The instant coffee and tea and kettle was nice. Loved the water bottle and the lobby/library area offered plenty of extra coffee/tea/creamer options and a water spigot. Brother Fox, the restaurant is INCREDIBLE. It was so good. The food, drinks, atmosphere all were top notch. It’s a must and reservations are suggested. There is also a speakeasy, we didn’t go because there was a line but it looked cool. We sent a text to housekeeping asking for a toothbrush and extra pillows. Return text took a bit, said no extra pillows but will drop a toothbrush and it never happened. Overall I probably wouldn’t stay there again, but it is a great location, safe and the room was pretty nice. Just prefer a little more quiet. Will for sure return to the restaurant.
