The Hotel Paisano

While it is still a classic West Texas Hotel, it is in need of serious updating. The bathroom was tiny and while clean, it looked dirty.

Hotel Friday night had no hot water. They were working on it Saturday morning when I checked out. The only other issue was that the female bartender ignored us when we were the first couple in the bar. She waited on friends first who came in a little bit after us. She also spent time training a new employee which she should have done before the bar opened.

Beautiful period building with great architecture

The bed was soft and uncomfortable for me. Also, the restaurant didn’t stand up to its reputation. The food was very average.

It's a historic building but kept with great care. Comfortable bed and well functioning, but super small bathroom. Lovely Bathroom essentials. Unfortunately the Pool Area did not look very inviting, and full of mosquitos while we were there. We did not use the restaurant and the bar closes by 9 pm so no late night drinks for us. The yound lady covering the evening shift at reception is super friendly and helpful.
