Hotel Palomino

Our stay wasn't pleasant with difficulties getting into the room with incorrect digital entry code. Then a neighboring smoke detector was going off for hours (in error.) There is no staff on site and when you call you get voicemail saying staff aren't on duty all the time. When I reached someone she was rude. It would be ok if you don't have a problem but good luck if you do. Overpriced given lack of services or amenities. The no-staff approach doesn't work for guests. Won't be back!

This was the absolute cutest spot in a convenient location to Ouray and Telluride. The layout of the rooms is like an old western town and the room itself had so many cute touches not to mention a comfy bed and affordable. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very clean and modern room. Good location with nice restaurant next door. Gas/convenience store across the street. Short walk to the other restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the most unique hotel stays I’ve ever been to. When I first pulled up, I thought it was a little western amusement town then I realize it was a hotel. Accommodations were wonderful the town is scenic and the location is great being just 10 miles from Ouray.

The hotel is super cute and has a western modern decor! Very clean and comfortable rooms with bathrooms. Easy parking! Cute courtyard with a patio and fire pit for warming up on chilly nights. Had a great time and will definitely stay again!

We recently spent 5 days at Hotel Palomino and really enjoyed the experience. The check-in process was a little weird because of booking through my credit card, but the staff was very friendly when I called and got our check-in info sent over super quickly. The hotel itself is very clean, quiet, and the rooms are adorable. We also enjoyed the shared space on the patio. Ridgway has some really good restaurants and is only a short walk away from the hotel, and Ouray is a really pretty 15 minute drive. We would definitely recommend it and hope to come back at some point.

The room was nice and very clean. The host was super attentive. We had questions so we texted the host and we got immediate response. I would love to stay here again sometimes in the future

Check-in was easy. The remodel is beautiful and it was very comfortable and cozy. Definitely do Stay and Soak package and drive up to Ouray for the day! Don’t miss Greenwoods next-door. The restaurant is so good!

Very comfortable, low key atmosphere...surrounded by a privacy fence that kept road noises at bay. The rooms were very appointed with fridge and nice blankets. Very clean.
