The Cape

This was our first visit to Cape May, NJ, and our family had a wonderful time exploring the beach town. We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Cottages — our two-bedroom suite was clean, cozy, and had a great beachy feel. Check-in was seamless, with a modern, text-based process. The location was super convenient, just under 10 minutes from Cove Beach and the main shopping district. Coming from NYC, it was the perfect getaway spot to relax and create lasting family memories.

10/10 — Charming, Clean, and Unique! I absolutely loved my stay at Cape Cottage Inn! The individual cottages are so cute and unique, giving you privacy and a cozy vibe you don’t find at a regular hotel. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained, with a gorgeous built-in pool that’s perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent — just minutes from the beaches and downtown Cape May. Overall, I’d rate this 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, clean, and charming place to stay in Cape May!

We were met by the manager upon arrival, who walked us to our cottage and personally inspected it to ensure all was good. Very quiet and a secure location. Mother Nature and our schedule didn't cooperate to utilize the pool, but staff had it in pristine condition. Highly recommend this property.

Was good but room is tight

I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with this hotel. I canceled my reservation within the allowed time frame according to their own cancellation policy, and they still will not refund my money. What they did wasn’t just shady, it was completely against their own stated rules. I contacted them multiple times, and was either ignored, told that a manager would call me(who never did), or hung up on. This isn’t just bad service—this is dishonest and potentially illegal. It’s one thing to have a strict policy, but it’s another to blatantly disregard your own terms and hold onto someone’s money. I would strongly advise others to stay somewhere else. If this is how they treat their customers, they don’t deserve your business.

Everything is great

the room was damp all the time. location was ok.

We have stayed at this property a few times, but this is the first time we are staying under new management. Our room was nice, new bathroom upgrade until we noticed our room was infested with flies, and not just one or two, way more. We would kill them and come back and see more, overnight we woke up to a swarm of them on each of the windows. Management basically told us we could switch room at 11pm at night - we were only there one night stay. Nonetheless all we received was an exterminator would be by in the morning, but that doesn't help us once we were gone. Some type of compensation, maybe a discount to our room would have sufficed. But instead we dealt with it. Highly doubt we will be back. OH and should mention their waterfall in the pool was not on or according to them waiting on a motor part for it. This was never mentioned in our booking. For over $200 stay very disappointed. You need to do better for your patrons.
