Willcox Extended Inn and Suites

The suite is actually 2 separate rooms - a bedroom and totally separate sitting room with a large kitchenette. This was a road trip for us, so having the large fridge, microwave and kitchen sink were ideal. The king size bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Joe (front desk) was kind enough to hold our luggage early in the day while we did some touring nearby. Free bottled water was provided. Our room did not face I-10, so it was pretty quiet.

The parking lot is pretty rough. The toilet only has a seat, but no lid, and the towels are hanging above it. Have to be careful nothing slides off. Overall, the hotel is a bit unpolished, but still worked for us.

The young man that assisted us was very helpful and kind.

First room, they gave us stink so bad. When we walked in there was an odor fan running in the room. I requested a new room because I could not stay in the stinky room. I began getting a headache right away just by being in the room for only a few minutes. They upgraded us to a suite, but it was not very clean, but it had no odor. However, I kept feeling little bites on my legs. I could not see any bugs or mosquitoes that could be biting at my lower part of the legs. So I assumed they were bedbugs or fleas. I did not stay the two nights and I did not get refunded by the property manager for those two nights. Very very disappointing.

Location is good; easy access off Interstate. Breakfast is not a breakfast. Bunch yogurt cups, a bottle of milk, some dry cereal constitute the “breakfast”. Needless to say, I passed.

It is on the low end of budget motels. For the price, it was OK but after checking into the room, I would have rather paid more for a better room.

Breakfast OK. Neighborhood OK.

As I recall, the beds were a bit on the too soft side.

Just an average place, no frills. I’d suggest discontinuing advertising breakfast, the options were pathetic.

Noisy, bare bones room, towels were old and tattered. Breakfast was pathetic, fruit punch in a little cup, cereal, or a bagel, no fruit or yogurt like most places offer.
