Stoner's Mansion House

We needed a place to stay on the fly while traveling. Rate was good, called but had to book online only, which fortunately we were able to do. Cons-This was a new experience. You had to go into the bar to get the room key and combination to outer door. Our room was 3 flights of stairs up. No elevator. There were no washcloths so back down the steps to the bar because there was no phone. Water from sink had an odd taste and smell. The room was small, but (pros) quaint and clean. Bed had fitted sheet only and blanket, but we were fine. Window unit a/c was a bit loud but would've helped block out road noise if we'd left it on. Was thankful to not be directly over the bar for noise. Manager was very apologetic about the wash cloths. Apogized profusly. Room rate was very good.

The location of Stoner’s is very convenient and close to Mercersburg Academy where I was attending a reunion. The room was small…no chair , small bathroom but quiet and met my needs. No elevator, on the 3rd floor so not a place for people with disabilities. Would have liked a bigger bed. The room and bathroom were spotless. Very impressed with that!

We were really happy with our stay. Staff was really pleasant. Although sparse, The room was clean and comfortable.

Nice small town pub with rooms above the bar. Friendly staff and locals.

Such a great little historical town. Very clean and friendly people. Owners are extremely nice and took the time to talk and have pleasant conversation. Food was great across the street at the Pub in which they own as well.

Lovely area and fantastic staff. Some of the rooms are a little sparsely furnished but they’re very clean and well maintained. The hotel sits over a tavern so be ready for some noise leakage on nights when there is live music. Not a lavish experience but overall a great stay.

Great historic hotel. Hoiwever, certain rooms are over top of fist floor bar and can be very noisy . No coffee service available. And weekend cafe hours across street not open til 8am. Management -Please consider coffee options at hotel in morning!!

Cute old hotel in a lovely town with a restaurant across the street as well as a coffee shop. Staff was nice and very helpful. The room (#10) was clean and cozy but few amenities. No coffee maker (but there was a fridge and microwave), no hair dryer, no space in bathroom for toiletries, and while there is plenty of drawer space, there's nowhere for hanging clothes other than 2 hooks in the bathroom. There is a bank outside the window and the ATM lights and street lights light up the room, even with the mini-blinds closed. A black-out shade would help. The room is up 4 flights of stairs so if you have a heavy bag or health problems, take your time. Overall, I would probably stay there again because I have a friend who lives nearby.
