The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett

Stayed here for 5 days on business, this is a nice relatively new hotel with a very nice modern upscale feel to it. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, being a regular Traveller I appreciated the dimensions of the room not too small not too big just right! The gym and pool on the main level are well equipped but be aware there are no changing rooms for the pool. The rooms can also be a bit noisy if you have noisy neighbours on my first night i had a neighbor that kept moving furniture during the night (probabaly moved this desk cheir back and forth on the floor) it made me loose sleep and request a different which was quickly taken care off. Reception staff quickly assigned me a new room however the hotel staff that gave me my new key (looked like a valet guy) gave me my key without saying a word and was busy with a call using his ear buds. The hotel does provide a robe and slippers in the room so you can make your way out there. The other minor thing with the rooms are the smoke detectors, they have all green operating light that flashes every 15 second and at a regular interval (of 15 seconds) it flashes 3 times. At night this lights up the room, its too much and I recommend the hotel should fix that light intensity. A nice touch are the inder bed light that light up with you step out and the low ambient lighting in the bathroom. The selection of restaurants on ground and top floor is nice too, although I suspect it all comes from one and the same kitchen. The restaurant on the bottom floor is Korean influenced and the top one has a more Latin influenced menu. Bar staff is courteous but nothing over the top, I ate at the topfloor bar twice and never really engaged in small talk with any of the hostess or bartenders because the staff kept busy with themselves or just tending to stocking and cleaning the bar. The top floor bar is the more lively place where the ground floor bar is more a welcoming place to chill out on couches. Both provide outside seating. Breakfast selection is good, and I found some of the staff here more welcoming and helpful, my servers Iona and Mariah and the welcoming host team where great to engage with. So bottom line good hotel, good location, good food and drink options but I think the although the staff are courteous it still needs to gel and work on giving this hotel it's 'soul' as a welcoming place. It all feels a bit too superficial and staff is more focussed on work and interactions with collegaues than with guests. And with a little work this could be a real gem because all the right ingredients are here. Overall these are minor things and improvements and I will return to this hotel.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. Oh , they also have nice workout facility with heated pool. Good food.

Belene has been amazing!! Great service and very attentive! Bar staff is the best! Rooms are good and staff is has been good. Valet needs to be replaced.

Starbucks direkt im Hotel und Parkhaus fußläufige Nähe. Das Zimmer war sehr modern und gut eingerichtet. Freundliches Personal und ein späterer Check out wegen unseren Rückfluges am Nachmittag war problemlos möglich. Top.

Leider war an der Innenseite der Bad Tür der Griff abgebrochen und man konnte die Tür von innen nicht öffnen.

Rooms were clean and very nice. Taylor from the restaurant gave excellent service. Belene from the bar was great. Very interactive. And remembered everyone’s name. Service was superb.

I reserved a table for my birthday brunch and upon my arrival was greeted by Mr Michael Fields and his staff. He made me and my family feel absolutely welcome. We are still talking about our experience and would love to spend the night at the hotel to experience the roof top bar soon. Hope to see y’all again soon!!
