Casitas at Capitol Reef

Mooie plek! De accommodatie zelf was PRACHTIG! Alles schoon en goed verzorgd!

Het was enorm gehorig. Wij hadden de pech dat we beide nachten een gezin naast ons hadden. Springende en schreeuwende kinderen zijn dan niet zo lief en leuk 🫣.

My expectation was that we would be staying in one of the cabins. Instead we were in a room sandwiched between other rooms like a motel. It was ok, clean, bed was comfortable but it was pretty basic.

The communication from the hotel operators was very complete and easy to understand.The room was cute in a 'looks good on instagram' way. The bed was in good shape. There is a pretty good Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

The shower is tiny. The provided coffee is Folgers. The 10 am checkout time is brutal, especially when the hotel is in a good star-gazing location. And there is no breakfast. The room opens using a coded lock, which requires a battery to operate the deadbolt: With this setup I'm always concerned that the battery will die before I re-enter, especially since there are no on-site employees to help with that.

Very comfortable and nice

There were a few things that needed attention like counter top trim torn off.

Beautiful views from the property. The room was really nice and decorated with Utah stuff. There's a small grocery store with plenty of meal options and local beer a half a mile from the room. They had a microwave and a hot plate in the room so we were able to save a few bucks by making our own dinner and breakfast before we left out the next morning. Capital reef is a short drive from here. Perfect jumping off point for the park.

Nothing to complain about. Clean, private, and comfortable.
