Meeting House Boutique Hotel

The staff at Meetinghouse were wonderful. The room was very clean if not a bit spartan. Free parking is a plus for that area and having Godfrey’s provide a muffin and coffee every morning was a treat.

Staff was courtious and friendly. Morning coffee and muffins were a real treat. We highly recommend.

Amazing place for family of three, quite, beautiful restaurant, good coffee, muffin and you can additionally order breakfast, very healthy.

This was our first visit to The Meeting House and it hit all the marks. Beautifully updated, clean, with an amazing and attentive staff. The onsite restaurant Godfrey’s serves an incredible breakfast with world class pastries and superb entrees. The Meeting House will be our go-to property in whenever we’re in the Washington, DC area.

Very clean rooms, all staff are very attentive and entire grounds are impeccable.

No fridge in room but was easily accommodated with ice in our personal cooler.

Facility is very nice. We would have liked to have had a mini-fridge. Bed was comfortable.

Stayed for two nights. This hotel has the potential to be really great, but it’s just okay. My room smelled of old cigarettes being covered up by an overpowering air freshener. When you flushed the toilet or ran the sink water for too long it started to smell like sulfur. There were still toenail clippings from the last guest on the floor and also found two little worms on the ground in my room. They are also doing construction on the back patio which would have been nice to know about before booking. They also have a restaurant attached that felt overpriced for the food I got.

Pros: Great comfy bed. Quiet room and the staff super friendly. Fantastic bakery and restaurant. Cons: Complimentary breakfast/coffee wasn't open until 8am. We had to leave much earlier but do want to point out the staff offered to bring us a muffin and coffee prior to our early departure. No coffee maker in the room or check in area. We are big coffee drinkers and need that cup when our feet hit the floor. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Restaurant with cocktails was excellent. Nice quiet location you can walk to plenty of shopping/restaurants/grocery.

This is an excellent place to stay! The staff is friendly and top notch. We love the bakery which is attached to the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. They are small so this would not be a great option for children or if you have a lot of luggage. Extremely walkable location with lots of restaurants near by.
