The Cove At Salem

The staff were able to fulfill our request for a room with a microwave and fridge at the same price as the room we had originally booked. The room has been renovated recently and more than satisfied our needs.

The TV in our bedroom did not work

On-campus parking (important in Salem, as we were to find out later). The staff were wonderful, at both The Cove and The Hotel Salem, which we had to change to after power went out at The Cove (see next comment).

No extra blankets, which would have been handy when, due to mostly weather (45 mph winds, which caused some power to go out), the thermostat quit working. I was texted around 9pm about changing to another hotel, but was busy, and didn’t look at the message till the next morning. We were sent to the Hotel Salem, parking a long uphill block away. 4 hr time limit, can’t reload for more time, so I had to move the car.
