Pilot Cove Forest Lodging

The location was very accessible to the attractions that we were interested in exploring. It felt like a private getaway. Enjoyed our stay very much! Will definitely return!

Great place to stay with your dog. It was very private and quiet and also within close proximity to many trails, stores and restaurants.

I can’t imagine a more comfortable floor plan with access to a nice view, while maintaining privacy. With in a few miles to local trout fishing access points, lazy streams to rent a tube and float or swim a while. Highly recommended

Clean, comfortable cabins. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Best location for hiking and biking trails short of pitching a tent in Pisgah. No bears. Problem free booking and good communication after booking. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Exactly what we wanted for a cabin retreat. Clean and comfortable in a great location near Brevard & Pisgah National Forest trails and waterfalls. Ideal for having breakfast on the deck and enjoying the beautiful mornings. Kitchen had everything needed to make meal prep easy. Highly recommend the studio cabin for 2 for an enjoyable vacation.

Lovely cabin and beautiful location, HOWEVER, cabin number given (even when access code gained entry) was already occupied. It was difficult to contact management, then was told I "went to the wrong cabin and door must have been unlocked" when we clearly heard the lock click and provided the original email stating the "incorrect" cabin number thrice. Also, had to buy toilet paper as no refills were provided. BYOTP

We booked last minute and found this gem right next to the park. The studio cabin was clean and very comfortable. Space was great and porch outside was wonderful due to the temperature. Would definitely stay again next time we visit the area.

Pilots cove is always the most relaxing place to say - always ready in time and unit is clean and ready for your stay - love this place it’s where we stay every time we go to brevard - staff is not seen but always a phone call away to take care of anything you need !

Can’t say enough great things about our stay at Pilot Cove, the one bedroom cabin was perfect- felt like we were in a treehouse! Having the mudroom when you walk in is helpful as it rained a lot while we were there- the deck with the use of the hammock was great! Felt very secluded but we were just up the road from shopping and restaurants- The access to Pisquah and DuPont Parks is great from here. Can’t wait to come back! White Squirrel festival was a blast!

Our stay at Pilot Cove was fabulous! We were in town to see the Blue Ghost Fireflies at the Cradle of Forestry. Pilot Cove was a perfect location! You feel like you are nestled off in the woods, yet you don’t have to drive very far to get to restaurants, breweries, and of course great hikes! We loved the large deck with the sliding glass doors. As a matter of fact, we chose to hang out at our cabin more than we thought we would because of that! We loved that there was a hammock available to use on the deck. The bed and linens were so comfortable. We felt very rested and refreshed after our stay. If you stay at Pilot Cove, keep your eyes open for white squirrels! We spotted one near our cabin!
