"Nice New Hotel that is Bolding Decorated"

Avid in Van Horn appears to be brand new. The hotel is boldly decorated with solid colors. The air conditioning and ventilation worked effectively. There were no issues with noise from Interstate 10. A quick, self-served breakfast of coffee, juice (4 choices), some baked goods and several choices of breakfast biscuit sandwiches was good. Avid was just what we needed for an overnight stay on a long road trip across country.

"Last Stay in Van Horn, TX"

We like the Avid properties as a rule, but this one is already showing signs of wear in walls & floors in publ8c spaces. Room & breakfast were good tho. Just don't believe google & their rather lengthy list of available restaurants in this town. We visited FIVE & each was closed for Saturday nite dinner service. REALLY Van Horn?????
