Berkshire on the Ocean

Staff was friendly and attentive. Daniel was extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment was clean and quiet and we appreciated the beach towels and chairs/ cabanas on the beach.

The bed was a little harder than we’re used to and the air conditioner was noisy in the bedroom and blew directly on the bed.

Ganz tolle wohlfühl Unterkunft. Falls ich wieder einmal nach Florida komme, würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder dort hingehen. Ganz bestimmt auch für längere Zeit!!

Upon check-in i had issues, as i was texted a code to a lockbox to receive my room key & when i opened it, there was nothing inside. The office closed at 4pm daily & check in was at 4pm, but after texting & knocking & waiting a few minutes, someone came to the door & checked my reservation, asking if it was under a different name (it wasnt) & when i showed them my phone with texts confirming the reservation, they took a photo of it & then allowed me to come inside while they spent another 5 mins getting me keys. Upon arrival of the room, it looked outdated, even the tv would turn green randomly & had 2 remotes like my grandparents used to have. The blinds were broken & provided poor privacy. The bed was hard & lumpy, making for poor sleep. There were no outlets near the bed to allow my phone to charge at night. The most concerning was the bathroom, where the popcorn ceiling appeared to be covered in mold, possibly because the vent in there was covered in dust & caused poor circulation? There was no ocean view, but it did have access to the beach. Unfortunately couldnt swim due to the massive amount of seaweed (sargassum) in the water & washed ashore. Positives were the AC worked good & the pool was very nice, not sure id stay here again unless they update it

Amazing stay! Been coming here for a while and it never disappoints! The condo, the service, the staff, the pool..all top notch. I don’t stay anywhere else! Close to everything you’ll ever need.

The place was actually very nice. The main problem was the noise in the morning.

The first morning we woke up around 10:30 a.m. to the sound of what we thought was lawn equipment. It was extremely loud, coming from behind the bedroom. But since we had to get going, it wasn't a big deal. The real problem was the second morning. Wanted to sleep till 9:45, but was awakened by pounding outside the window around 8:00 a.m. I called the office, they said it was construction. I was offered to move to a different room, but I was checking out that day. They told me they had just become aware of the construction work going on. But the construction was obviously what we had heard the first morning, and mistakenly thought was lawn work. So the office knew what was going on, I don't believe they were honest. They should have offered to let us move the first morning. Also, on the 2nd night, the internet went down. So no streaming tv shows..

Right on the ocean, perfect for sunrise walk on beach. Beautiful grounds. Full-size apartment with full kitchen.
