Inn at Bellefield Residence Inn by Marriott

A lovely Hotel across from the CIA. Architecturally so pretty. We had a one bedroom Suite with a full kitchen etc. We were recognized as Elite Marriott members and given an upgrade to a one Bedroom Suite. Michelle at Reception was so pleasant. We would stay here again

Overall, this place is STUNNING. The location, the atmosphere and the rooms are beautiful. The outside fireside area was very relaxing on a fall evening. The staff was great but there were a somethings that kept my rating from a 5. The details in the restaurant/bar were great, like the menu styles and little adventure-themed touches. But the menu was a bit limited and the drinks were inconsistently made. I ordered the same drink a few times and each time it was differently made. If you're on the bottom floor, be prepared to be disappointed... The views around the hotel are gorgeous but if you're on the ground floor, you only see cars and very bright lights. The breakfast was... standard. The website makes it out to be better than typical hotel fair but it's fairly ordinary. The focus on local items like the maple syrup was great, but otherwise it's just decent hotel food. Overall, I would stay here again but just a few things keep it from being be a 5/5

The main reason we chose this lovely new hotel was because it is so conveniently located to explore the Hudson River Valley attractions. Relatively large with clean spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, elevators, a gym and an onsite dining area which offers a generous, delicious complimentary buffet breakfast and a decent but limited bar/dinner menu, this hotel seemed the perfect spot to relax and spend a few days with friends while exploring the beautiful Hudson Valley. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Online, I had booked two separate rooms—one for my husband and me and one for another couple traveling with us. Each reservation offered a special package including a gift voucher for use in the dining room and free tickets to various area attractions. What followed was a quagmire of problems associated with this online reservation. When I first realized that the credit card information on the reservation was incorrect, I immediately called to make the necessary corrections and was assured that all had been rectified. When we arrived at the hotel, however, it was apparent that not only had our reservation corrections not been made, but that the front desk staff was completely unaware of all such changes and that our reservation included the special package amenities. After speaking with at least 4 different front desk employees over the course of our two-night stay, eventually the amenities were restored and at checkout yesterday we were (again) assured that only the correct charges would be applied. As of this morning, the original incorrect reservation is still on my credit card statement as a “pending charge.” I am hoping that these incorrect charges will drop off today. This Marriot hotel is lovely, but it is obvious that their online booking system is either inefficient and/or outdated. The front desk staff was friendly enough but it was obvious to us that communication between staff and management needs improvement. At the very least, they need to be made aware of current hotel offers. One final note: The dining room staff, especially Salim, who manages the breakfast buffet display; and Hugo, who was our waiter on both nights, deserve special commendation. Salim was friendly, cheerful and very accomplished at his job. Hugo was also friendly, charming and aims to please; he seems to genuinely want guests to enjoy their hotel dining experience here. We wish them both well.

The Theodore Roosevelt Association was delighted to host our 106th Annual Meeting at the beautiful Inn at Bellefield. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Christina Crespo and her staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our event was perfect — from the lively and elegant Cocktail Reception at The Storyteller to our memorable Awards Dinner Gala attended by 100 guests. The service was exemplary, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the food was simply fantastic — every course was beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests were thoroughly impressed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue partner. The Inn at Bellefield truly exceeded our expectations and helped make 106th Annual Meeting one to remember.

Very nice hotel and good customer service. Rooms were very clean. Enjoyed their free breakfast every morning, and also thought dinner was delicious. They offer housekeeping every other day. However, we needed our room "spiffed up" on the day they wouldn't normally do housekeeping in our room, but they happily and efficiently responded to our request for that day. Definitely would stay there again.

I had an amazing stay here! The lobby is beautiful and really sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. My room was spotless and really well designed, with so many thoughtful details that tie into the local area’s wood theme. The housekeepers were super polite, and the front desk staff went above and beyond—especially when they helped with a late checkout. The free breakfast was honestly the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. You can tell a lot of care went into both the design and the day-to-day operations. For a hotel that’s only a little over two years old, it’s been incredibly well maintained. Everything ran smoothly and looked great. Highly recommend!

The Inn at Bellefield is a hotel is a prime location. Located directly across the road from the Culinary Institute of America, this hotel is clean and inviting with a friendly staff. The one downside is that the shower has half a glass door. Even with a bath rub near the opening, when you exit the shower, the floor is soaking wet. We mentioned this at check out and was advised that a lot of guests have mentioned that. Perhaps they can find a way to correct this issue. Other than that, the hotel provided a really nice stay.
