Ranch Motel

What a cool place! The photos don't really do it justice. It's a vintage motel that's been upscaled to a super-cute boutique with mostly individual cabins and some 2nd floor side-by-side rooms, all opening to the courtyard with a fenced in pool with pretty plantings, and little nooks for hanging out with a cocktail from the casual outdoor bar. Really friendly staff! They're about to open the new upstairs Mezcal bar (she said maybe early-mid July 2024) so maybe we'll enjoy that next time we're back here! During the daytime and evening the music playing in the courtyard was really interesting and great fidelity! Location is close to Trinity Univ, and as a runner I appreciated very close access to the river-walk "trail" (mostly paved sidewalk beside the SA River) and Brack Park and a golf course.

Retro hotel completely renovated, but still has some REALLY cool vintage touches. Best one was the vintage radio in our room (looked like 1950’s) on when we walked into our room set to an oldies station. Felt like we were walking back in time! Bed and sheets weren’t the most comfortable and room felt humid. It was a fun stay, but not sure I’d stay there again due to the beds and sheets.

This is an old motel remodeled to include lots of the original items. I absolutely loved this place. But remember no refrigerator or microwave. Pool looked awesome. The bar hadn't opened yet when I was there, but it looks like it's going to be amazing. Pet friendly.

This small hotel has such a welcoming, relaxing vibe. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

We enjoyed our time at the Ranch Motel. The accommodations were comfortable and the property felt intimate. The pool was too warm to swim in and the bar was closed so I don’t have much to share on the amenities. We will definitely back again.

Cute 50s retro. Good location. Probably less than 30 rooms with a pool and bar in the middle. Pillows were extremely soft for me but everything else was fine. Will come back again.

This place is such a cool experience! Retro meets modern. Feels like a 50s motel updated to state of the art. They have a great pool, a bar, and they’re opening five Pickleball courts. Great location and great service! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!!

I go back often due to how quite and nice it is.

We stay here for fun! And we're local! HAHA That's how much we love it... quaint, cozy, comfortable! It is a great vibe and a wonderful experience.
