The Pathmaker Hotel

The facility is in great condition and is a short walk to several shops and restaurants. It is a short drive from Acadia National Park. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

Soft beds produced back ache, room refrigerator that made unacceptable noise 50 minutes out of every hour, intrusive bar staff in training more focused on selves than patrons, desk attendant at checkout that wasn’t skilled at listening nor her computer, and insufficient surface area nor storage to unpack suitcase nor sufficient outlets or charging outlets.

The locations was perfect! The team was like being welcomed by family. We started with Britt and Janet at the front. Very gracious and genuinely inviting. Our first dinner, which was fabulous Happy Hour served by James. Lwazi was the bartender, it was slow so he too came to chat and welcome us! Night 2 we had a real dinner, James it was great again! The food was so good we thought we would eat in for breakfast, Cameron gave us super service, recommendations of places to visit. Our last morning we had a lovely young lady coming to St Augustine for her wedding. These young people really impressed us both. The future is brighter than we think, I was inspired by them.
