Anglers Hideaway Cabins Extended Stay

Enjoyed the cabin experience.

Front porch not shaded to sit out in the afternoon.

Owner was never present. Took almost 30.minutes just to get into room. At around 9pm, someone walked right into my room. The doors had number keypad lock; he double sold room and gave code to other customer. I would not recommend or stay here ever again. Also, no breakfast, no cable, no internet, not even cell phone service.

The price was good especially if you're on a budget. Room was clean. Coffee maker, microwave, & fridge worked. Proximity to Durant was great!

Beds were not as comfortable as we would've liked. Windows had blinds but no other covering so there was more light coming in than I prefer. I like my room extremely dark especially at night when trying to sleeping.

Outside of town.

Thought we were getting a cabin. Ended up with a very old and in bad shape single trailer. Floors were falling in but had carpet stapled over weak spots. Hole in the floor by the kitchen with a board laid over it. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were in bad shape. There were spider webs all over everything. Beds were uncomfortable and one bed was almost through the floor, while the other was falling off the frame.

Cleanliness

They have regular rooms and not just cabins like the website implies. If you get a room on the 2nd floor, be prepared to climb a steep, long and narrow stairs. There is no soap, shampoo, or ice machine.

Liked the fridge, countertop stove, and kitchen sink. Room and shower were clean.

Room had a strong marijuana smell. I didn't say anything to the staff because it was late when we got there and I knew they had no other rooms available. Parking with a boat trailer would be a challenge unless there is other parking I'm not aware of.
