Field Station Joshua Tree

Staff were super friendly and room was clean and as advertised. Easy to find parking near the room, and hotel location is convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

So clean and thoughtfully decorated with a climbing theme. Common areas are really well laid out gardens with fire pits and games. Everything is so nice. There’s an espresso bar and gear shop on site.

Overall great, and yes, I would come back. Great mattresses, great cleanliness of indoor and outdoor facilities.

A few points where I think the hotel could make guests even more comfortable: Put heating in the bathroom (quite cold in winter). If you advertise breakfast availability, and people count on it, please do not just put a sign with "kitchen closed today" out in the morning. That really screws up planning for the day if you have to unexpectedly find a breakfast place. Make sure the very bright light on the balcony can be switched off individually. Thank god we brought sleep masks, since otherwise the existing light in the room would have made sleeping impossible for us - even with the "blackout" blind all the way down (but the light shines upwards to the ceiling). And last but not least: Do provide a coffee / tea maker in the rooms, as most hotels or even motels do. Also, you are advertising the Field Station as a "Hotel" but there is no daily cleaning service as a hotel would provide. These are just some suggestions, nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our stay in a very clean, bare bones scandinavian style room.

Choć to "amerykański motel", to zasadniczo różni się od typowych moteli. Jest urządzony w minimalistycznym stylu bez dywanów, tapet i wanno-pryszniców tak popularnych w US. Bardzo mi to pasowało i doceniam to, w jaki sposób zaaranżowana jest przestrzeń pokoi, podwórka, parkingu czy lobby. Naprawdę miła odskocznia od klasycznych amerykańskich B&B. Wieczorem w patio rozpalane jest gazowe ognisko - idealne na chłodny wieczór! Z braku czasu nie skorzystaliśmy z basenu, bo pobliskie Joshua Tree NP pochłonął nas bez reszty. W pobliżu sporo miejsc, gdzie można dobrze zjeść. Polecam i pozdrawiam ekipę FSJT!

Choć w obiekcie nie są serwowane śniadania (szkoda) niedaleko można znaleźć dobrą śniadaniówkę. Tak czy siak w lobby można zamówić np. kawę. Generalnie nie ma nic, co by mnie negatywnie zaskoczyło. Oferta w 100% zgodna ze stanem faktycznym.
