Urbanstay Sokcho Deungdae Beach

The view from my room was amazing and we could see the beach and the sea from our room. For the price that we pay, I think that the room was absolutely amazing. Although, the area was quiet at night, there were still convenient store. The hotel is very near lots of areas of attraction.

- the location was good - view was nice - room was clean - felt safe and secure

- it was complicated to check in, there were signs and emails that were conflicting - the room is very small, no space for luggage - some touch points could be cleaned a bit - the toiletries and soaps were less than half full

There is no person in front desk. If you dont have Korean number or clear email address, you might get in trouble to check-in

Had a nice stay here! The room was modern and sleek, kitchen was well-equipped with cookware and utensils, bathroom was spacious and having a washer and dryer was the cherry on top. The ocean view was great, and having a 7-Eleven right downstairs was super convenient.

- I didn’t know we had to turn on the boiler to get the hot water, so I was having a bit of trouble contacting the help desk after hours (phone in the welcome packet being different from the actual phone number to call, my phone not working and emails not going through). Thankfully the kind 7-Eleven staff was there to help me get through to the help desk with their own cellphone even though it was not their responsibility. - Not a bad thing but things to watch out for: balcony had no furniture so hard to fully enjoy it, kitchen doesn’t come with basic ingredients like oil or salt, so you’ll want to bring your own, one elevator stops on even floors and one on odd floors, so keep that in mind

The location is good close to the beach and to the bus stop going to Seoraksan. The room was clean and well equipped.

The entrance to the hotel was tricky to find. No check-in desk which would normally be fine, but when we arrived the batteries for one of the doors to the room had died and we had to spend some time getting a hold of someone who could help and let us into the room. The beds are fine but they are made with a plastic/rubber bedsheet which is very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Great views across the sea. Well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer was also great when travelling. Clean, tidy and modern.

Beds are covered in a plastic cover making them hot and uncomfortable to sleep on. Would have been nice if outdoor furniture was provided to sit and enjoy the view on the balcony. Some construction noise however we were warned about this by management after booking.
