Very straightforward basic accommodations, good value

Good room size and clean.

Easy check-in and accessible to different nearby spots.

Good value for money. The rooms are small and simple, but they get the job done. Good location, close to a busy area with shopping, restaurants, nightlife, etc. but down a little off, so it is nice and peaceful. Lots of convenient facilities in the hotel. Common kitchen, laundry, etc.

Great location away from the main insanity of Hongdae but short enough to walk back in. Close to major bus routes around Seoul but also for the airport, metro stations. Hotel has convenience of cafes and shops surrounding it. The actual place is ideal if you're a digital nomad as the facilities would suit remote working. I liked the vibe and set up, whilst I didn't use cleaning facilities or on-site cafe, I appreciated knowing they were available. Rooms were quiet, quite small - a couple would have struggled with bags and space possibly - but for a solo traveller ideal. Deep bath to step in for shower so might put some off. I liked the rec rooms on floors and availability of filtered water. I ended up staying an extra night. Check in/out was seamless, able to do through a machine or with staff on hand. Would stay again.

the room was decent for what you would need to get out of it: bed, couch, work table, sink, bathroom. there were a few random stains and prints on the wall and furniture but we wiped it down.. there’s also laundry! self-sufficient machine in the common space. location is superb. just a quick 10 minute walk to hongdae shopping street with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. there was even a local farmers market there on the sunday we were there. the service was ok. we had tried to get help with calling a taxi on the day we had to leave for the airport a few times and the staff seemed dismissive and also gave mixed answers. also while using one of their machines, it ate up my money without providing the service and when asking the staff for help they kept telling me they couldn’t do anything. it was very frustrating. don’t think i would be returning but maybe good for solo travelers if they’re looking for others going solo.

Excellent place for a solo traveler, an artist or entrepreneur. Feels very communal but you have your own space. Things are inspiring with technology and ease of use of amenities being highlights of Localstitch.

The hotel is very nice, and the style it’s going for really works in my opinion. The area around the hotel is also super great for food, shopping and is just a great part of Seoul. The issues we found all had to do with the room lacking many features that are typically available in most hotel rooms. There were no towel racks to hang towels, no ironing board (in a business hotel), no shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor and toilet got soaked, and no closet to hang up clothes. The room also has a light by the door that is motion triggered that could not be turned off, so if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night you got blasted by a bright light as soon as you walked over. The controls for the lights was on a small led control panel on the wall beside the bed that was very bright at night and also could not be turned off. Lastly the bathroom door is more like a frosted shower door with space on the side of the door so it’s more like a public bathroom stall in your hotel room. Just why, please just put a real door on.
