Château Cordeillan-Bages - Relais & Châteaux

Amazing place!!!

The chateaux is located in an ideal part of beautiful wine country just an hours drive from Bordeaux. The service is impeccable and we unfortunately only stayed for one night but will next time stay longer. There are fantastic walks through the village and vineyards, and the chateaux terrasse was relaxing and ideal for an afternoon glass of wine. The bistro café lavinal is just a stroll away with excellent food in a charming village square. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was recently renovated to a very high standard. The bed and room amenities were perfect.

All-in-all an amazing experience. Beautiful property on the vineyard. Highly recommend!

A perfect 10. we arrived with our e-bikes in the pouring rain and were cordially and friendly welcomed and taken care of. Fantastic staff (very nice and helpful and highly competent), beautiful hotel & environment, with one of the best breakfast (buffets) ever (really!). The room was spacious, airy, beautifully designed and fully functional. Because the on-site restaurant was closed (COVID related), the hotel had booked us a table for dinner at its nearby bistro (presented as a bistro, which it was BUT: oh, wow. This is when it clicked: the bistro belongs to the owners of chateau Lynch Bages - more substance than show! Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and wine). Yes, the stay was perfect and we‘ll return not before long.

Everything is perfect and comfortable. The room was amazing!

That was something to welcomed us, we found a toilet brush in the covered toilet bowl in our room, apart from this everything was good.

Truly a French Chateau with great restaurants around it. Vineyards everywhere from famous chateaus to small ones. Great place to have a vacation and learn about wine.

Lovely Chateau in the Paulliac region, Michelin starred resteraunt with Terrace. The outdoor pool was relaxed however no real poolside service and quite a few families with kids. The hotels winery is closed for tastings until 2020 so keep this in mind also (we didn't know this until checkin). Great location if you're looking to stay in the Bordeaux wine region.

We really enjoyed this property. The staff were eager to help but could have been a bit more informed and willing to make suggestions. We had dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant and enjoyed it but it was extremely pricey and not exactly perfect. The pool was enchanting and relaxing. Our room was large and comfy. There were some nice restaurants in the area and of course some amazing wineries and tours.
