Masseria del Carboj

We spent one week at the Masseria and really didn’t want to leave. It’s a true gem! The location is beautiful and the whole location is renovated thought through and with great design choices. Every staff member is just a lovely person and you can feel that they enjoy their job! Our stay was a 10/10 and we will definitely come back sometime. As a person who checks these comments a lot before booking something just some notes that may be worth it: - a car is definitely helpful If you want to go to the beach or elsewhere, the location is standalone which makes it super calm and relaxing but also a bit far from everything - yes, the roads around are wild, but that’s Sicily, you will find that anywhere here. Just drive a bit more carefully - Breakfast is served at the table, an unconventional method but it really helps to keep you relaxed! The staff will try to make every breakfast wish come true. Maybe it could be helpful to set up a menu with all the possible options to order or something like a check list where guest could choose their breakfast wishes of the day - Wasps and mosquitoes are a frequent guest, which is a good sign for great nature and there is not a lot to do about. The stuff tries their best! - The pool area is beautiful! It can be “crowded” some days but i guess that’s just the way it goes in most hotels - Kids are allowed which I appreciate as a becoming parent, even though some parents should just teach their kids a bit more “respect” for other guest who want to relax at the pool - Rooms are beautifully but semi sound proof, really depending on the person next door. If you are sensitive just pack some earplugs - Dinner in the Racina in the evening charms though again lovely staff and nice design choices. For our experience the prices where a bit too high

Au milieu des vignes et des olivier, isolé dans la campagne un très beau complexe hôtelier récent, un paysage magnifique. Un accueil et un service très attentionné. Un vrai sens du client et une envie que tout se passe bien de la part des propriétaires.

Manque de transats au bord de la piscine. Petit déjeuner "à la carte"

Although I spend over 100 nights annually in hotels around the world, I rarely write reviews because mediocrity isn't worth the time it takes to write them. And honestly, who really cares if a hotel gets 6, 7, or 8 points? Therefore, this review is exceptional for me and written for an exceptional place, which fully deserves a 10 point rating. The hotel itself is designed with an eye for detail and maintained in absolutely perfect condition. It has a clean pool, stunning views of the sea and surrounding vineyards, and a charming park-style garden that features hammocks, lanterns, a fig tree, and much more. During the day, it is wonderfully peaceful given the hotel has only 15 rooms, and when night falls, the outside seating area of the restaurant becomes magical with its candles and lanterns. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the quality of its staff. The manager, Marco, being fantastic himself, has brought together an excellent team that speaks very good English and is unfailingly courteous, making everything possible for their guests. I would like to illustrate their consistently outstanding service with three examples: - Upon arrival, we were approached and welcomed already at the parking lot, then brought to a comfortable lounge area and treated to a welcome drink (a glass of wine made from grapes grown in their own vineyard), while check-in procedures were smoothly handled in the background. Afterwards, we were guided to our room, where our luggage was already waiting. - A couple next to us asked for a parasol for the beach one morning at breakfast, so we asked as well. Unfortunately, the one handed to the couple was the last available. However, within an hour, the staff had organised an additional parasol from a shop in the village for us. - One night, we returned very late at 22:30 from the Stairs of the Turks, with the restaurant due to close in about 30 minutes.

Accoglienza e coccole pari a un four season. Qualità e attenzione ai dettagli eccellente con grande simpatia come in una famiglia, sempre accompagnata da grandissima professionalità

La piscina è stupenda e la vista al tramomento è molto romantica! Capo della struttura molto professionale: abbiamo avuto un problema in camera con l'aria condizionata (rumore forte meccanico nei condotti di ariazione) e lui è stato molto disponibile a provare a rimediare al rumore fino a tarda notte.
