Spacious and clean room. Appreciated the water in the fridge and the coffee. Nice balcony with drying rack and a pleasant view. Road is busy so you need to be careful crossing, the beach is literally on the other side of the road. Very comfortable bed and the terry toweling robes were nice

Staff are a bit on the cool side. At breakfast there is a cold buffet of meats, cheese, salad, bread and a selection of packet jams. Also cornflakes. We were offered sausage and eggs which my husband opted for, but didn't realise that you could also have omelette as no-one told us or have us a menu. We were given our tea and coffee. I particularly like my morning coffee so was keen to get another as I finished it quickly, but there seemed to be no staff. Then I saw our server round the corner on the stairs for his cigarette break. When he returned he went straight to the bar and didn't check on anyone. Eventually my husband had to go and ask for more coffee. I maybe wouldn't have been so peeved, but the folk at the next table had omelettes and a whole pot of coffee. Felt we got the most minimal effort in regards to service. I might add, for every trip up and down those outside stairs, there was staff sitting there smoking. I don't think the main stairs to the guest accommodation is the most appropriate place. They were all friendly enough about moving to let you past though. Diluting juice at breakfast, rather than the real stuff
