VILLA MANZONI

The staff were welcoming and helpful.

I am not sure why but we had expected the Villa to be a rural location not in the middle of a town. Although it advertised the restaurant to be open we were told on arrival it was closed for the 2 nights we were there. The listing also details a bar area but that was closed too and there was no access to a drink or anything on the premises. There is no outside space to sit out just a bench next to the car park The breakfast although okay was not as shown in the pictures There was a problem with the WIFI that was sorted out. We think it was overpriced relative to lots of other places we have stayed and considering the lack of amenities If you are staying just to be near the airport you might as well stay nearer the airport.

What a find!! Villa Manzoni is an absolute gem and I will definitely be returning. My colleague and I recently spent 4 nights there for a work trip to northern Italy. Everything about the place was first class, from the decor to the fantastic bedrooms. The restaurant was superb and will surely receive many awards over time. But the highlight of Villa Manzoni has to be the people. Everyone who looked after us were a delight - professional, friendly and relaxed. Huge kudos to what Angelo and his team have created. A presto!

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was really nice and they always offered to cook anything we wanted. The rooms was very clean and compy beds. Very close to the airport if you have to catch an early fright.
