Great hotel
For a night to shower and relax its worth it. Train is close by so occasionally here it at night. Overall its ok for a quick nights stay or 2. Not much to eat within walking distance, but close to the park.
I was nervous prior to arrival as I know this area can be trouble. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the neighborhood is gentrifying. I felt safe and the building had every safety precautions. Cameras at the entrance and inside. (Not in the rooms). To get to my room I had three doors each with a unique PIN code. The building was bright, modern and welcoming as well as very clean. The building is broken into pods with what seems to be two private rooms sharing a kitchen area. The room itself was clean, linens and towels were provided as well as TP, a small soap and shampoo. I parked on the bridge that goes over the railroad tracks and had no issues. I recommend staying here. Just know what you are getting. It’s not a private apartment but your room is private.
would recommend! perfect for our plans. we just needed somewhere to stay as we were taking trains to new york city multiple days and this was perfect.
I’d give this place 0 stars if I could. First off, even though Expedia lists this as an “entire apartment”, DON’T BE FOOLED. What you actually get is a tiny bedroom and a kitchen that you share with a random person. My partner and I didn’t feel safe at all knowing we could wake up to some random person outside our bedroom door. Additionally, upon entry, we found dead roaches on the kitchen floor. Given both of these things, my partner and I decided to book a hotel and leave this disgusting place. When I brought up the bugs and the misleading description to the management, they didn’t even acknowledge the bugs and told me that it was my fault that I didn’t read the fine print before booking EVEN THOUGH EXPEDIA LISTS IT AS THE ENTIRE APARTMENT. No offer of even a partial refund (we literally were in the apartment for 10 mins before leaving).
The unit was clean, the hotel wasn't too hard to find, but parking was a nightmare.
When r arrived it seemed nice but it was snowing and realized there's no rugs anywhere. Notes in email said hvac unit only hearts up to 70. It was 11 degrees outside and in the room. Turned heat on the wall unit and it doesn't work at all. Had to use heat from outside of room and left our door open all night every night. NO HOT WATER EITHER! Absolutely horrible. Message owner and he said everything works fine. He never sent anyone or reimbursed any funds. Use at your own risk. You'll see
Great place to stay! Very clean and well kept. Had all the necessary amenities including cooking options! Would recommend!
I booked a whole apartment but turned out it was only one room within an apt.
So 6 cars had their windows smashed in this neighborhood last night... There is no bar, no refrigerator in kitchen and no safety in surrounding area. Oftentimes the front door was wide open. The unit was roach infested and shower had an unfrosted window overlooking an alley... No kitchen table. Unit was dirty. This is a slum lord ghost hotel at best. Also photos on Expedia are stock photos... Shower was growing black mold and we got respiratory infections from property... Good area for a ball crawl though
