Comfort Living Alexandria Apts

This rental was very ok. It would have been nice to know that parking is actually free here-they charged us $41 non refundable and we found out when we got there it was free-dont pay it! The dishwasher was out of order. The pool is closed. The showers were dirty. For 6 people we got 6 towels-no extras. There was a small couch so it really does not accomodate 6 comfortably. They have plenty of room-its very large. A big sectional would have made it much more comfortable. For the weekend it was fine, but if you're planning on staying and relaxing at the property its just ok.

The beds were comfortable, the view was gorgeous and the penthouse itself was very spacious. However, on the down side, there weren't any wash clothes or dish towels available. In order to get any supplies for the room we had to call a place in Florida and request supplies. We never knew when or if the supplies were going to show up. We were told they would send us an email to let us know what was going on, yet we never received any emails, so we went out to buy our own supplies. The website says there is a pool available but it doesn't say that there is a daily fee. The dish washer never worked and when I called to inform them they asked if a repair person could show up, even if we weren't around. We declined and hand washed everything. The ice maker worked intermittently, which ice cold water to take out on our day long excursions was needed and sorely missed. The far room with two beds tub didn't drain probably. When we reported the dish washer didn't work we asked for paper towels or dish towels and they said they would put in a request, but also said supplies are only given the first night. In order to get to our penthouse and the Metro every day we had to travel down to and up from the C level. The smell on the C level and on the penthouse level had a strong smell of what we vould obly describe as vomit and hot garbage lingering throughout our entire stay.

Check in seemed to surprise the person at the front desk. No extra toilet paper available, nor was extra blanket.
