Remarkable Seaside Apartment - Sleeps 4

The Apartment was very clean, with good-quality furnishings and a large double bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and very clean. Fully fitted and usable kitchen.

No blinds in the lounge area, and when we stayed, it was a lovely sunny few days. Would benefit from a recycling bin in the kitchen.

Great location and a beautiful apartment.

A few small items such as salt, pepper, teabags, maybe shampoo etc would have been good.

Excellent location - literally a stone's throw from the beach and a small sports area for the kids which would have been nice had the weather not been so miserable. Nice new build house (holiday let on top floor, host on the ground floor) and own parking spot. Lovely, well equipped bathroom with bath and separate shower, and towels kindly provided - this isn't always the case in other properties we've stayed in. Nice TV with streaming services and a 'roaring fire' on the wall - we were out most of the days visiting family so it made for a cosy evening in after the kids were in bed. Generally very spacious, and comfy sofas etc. We were able to check in slightly earlier than the agreed time - much appreciated.

Possibly we have been spoilt by other holiday homes we have stayed at in the area (various booking sites) but in my opinion the likes of salt & pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen towel etc aren't too much to expect. The kitchen was absolutely bare apart from crockery/cutlery, utensils/pots/pans (no baking trays?), cleaning products and a roll of foil. Also a bin in the bathroom would be very helpful. The specific mention in the house rules of not wearing heavy shoes (we did take all shoes off before going upstairs) and the combination of wood flooring and high ceilings (lots of echoes) made us feel like we were walking on eggshells all weekend. We popped out briefly on the first day and when we came back there were some hotel-style slippers outside our door and we were unsure of the reason why - noise, mess..? Either way, trying to get two small children to wear them wasn't going to happen unfortunately and we spent most of our time there trying to stop them from making too much noise.

If you are looking for an apartment, look no further. Situated one minute's walk from the sea, this modern fully equipped apartment is as good as it gets. The owner Stephen is also a great host.. We loved it and would stay again.

Steve the host was super friendly and helpful. The location was great, short 5min walk to the beach and also local pub for meals.

A topper on the beds would make them more comfortable 😊
