great location! easy walk to beach, old town, restaurants & the station. from the balcony you can see the sea & the square is a pleasant view. The flat is spacious & light. quiet in the evening.

the cleaning was lacking. most surfaces were smeared or dirty. no spare toilet rolls for a five day stay. disappointed that there is no wardrobe, hanging rail or hangers. the chest of drawers was half full with towels & sheets.

Location is excellent - very close to the beach and close to the old town, supermarkets and shopping center.

Not very clean. No knife in the kitchen set. The towells smell was not very fresh.

Was a little tired and it was a little difficult to open the kitchen cupboard doors

The location is great for everything Hastings has to offer. The view from the front window is superb and the view of the castle is a pleasant surprise. The height of the ceilings are impressive. Despite being very central the noise is lower than expected. You can listen to the birds in the park opposite without other distractions.

Sadly there isn't a wardrobe, coat hangers or clothes rail so you either have to fold clothes or drape them on furniture. This isn't so bad but the ironing board is a compact table top type and the Iron supplied isn't great. Ok for a weekend but not longer. Cleanliness- The bathroom had easily visible hair and grime marks. The mirrors and glass table were smeary. Just needed that final once over. Trivial but a little surprise to what is otherwise a stunning apartment.

The apartment was beautiful. The balcony with a view of the sea and castle was wonderful.

There was nothing to not like. It was a perfect place.

Location is the only positive

The cleanliness standard of this host is very poor. Blames his staff for the lack of hygiene in the first apartment and after complaining about the second apartment he told me he had checked it himself! I have photos to show otherwise. Because I made a complaint he removed me from his database so that (thankfully) I cannot book anymore filthy apartments in Hastings with David 👍 Booking.com offered me compensation after seeing the photos. I can only post 4. We had spilt drinks on balcony, false individual eyelashes on bathroom floor, crumbs, chips, sand, the place had not even been vacuumed.

Washroom locker doesn’t work properly. I didn’t find the mentioned wifi that's very disappointed.
