The Beach House

Good location, great view, nice decor, very good towels, lovely linen in general , excellent shower pressure, cosy living room and a nicely set up kitchen. This apartment has the potential to be a winner with a bit of attention.

Shower doors are awful. The sliding kind that don't shut properly especially when broken. Although the house is very clean the person who does the cleaning really needs to step into the shower to get rid of all the mould around the rim. To be fair it is not something you would see without doing so. The windows are only single glazed so the apartment is rather noisy. The beds are REALLY squishy and dip to the middle. The 1st floor bedroom door does not shut properly. The rope railing to the dining room is coming off the wall - as are the coat hooks. We fixed the former (temporarily). Most of the blinds don`t work properly and in any case are insufficient to block out light or sun or noise. A little bit of general maintenance would have improved this rating enormously.

The road noise.

Great location in the Old Town with lovely views from the top bedroom over the sea. All facilities were available and the accommodation was clean.

Check out at 10am was a little too early and we had to pay an additional fee for a 12pm check out. The front kitchen window didn't have a blind, so in bright morning sunshine this proved uncomfortable having breakfast. The stairwell was fine for us yet would be a concern for people with mobility problems or the elderly. Perhaps there are too many ornaments, etc yet this is just a personal point of view and does not devalue the accommodation.

Great place and location. No complaints about the property, very comfortable.
