GBCozy, convenient and clean. The kitchen equipment was well stocked. We appreciated the humidifiers for each room. Comfortable beds, plenty of extra bedding and towels. We all enjoyed the fireplace!Excellent location. Would love to stay here again.
There were issues with the heating and water supply for the building during our stay, but this was no one’s fault. Perhaps some hot pads to remove pans from the oven could be added to the kitchen stock?
I would say that this space is "ok". There are pros and cons to any vacation rental and this property is no different. The pros are location (fantastic - especially with kids), parking (easy and heated), and cleanliness. However, the fireplace does not work, the building has plumbing issues, and windows are drafty. The fireplace is a known issue and we were told the building is older and therefore it will not work. The water was shut off for a day and there is an occasional smell that comes from the guest bath. Maintenance told us to "open the windows" which is hard when it is 4 degrees outside and you have kids in the unit. However, it did get better when we consistently flushed the toilet. We did leave a day early after the water was shut off for maintenance work.
