Cozy Condo on the White Sand Beach With Pool

My main complaint with my stay at this condo is with the company that handles the bookings, Vacation Homes Collection. They failed to notify us that the private beach we paid to have access to was going to be closed due to construction and the beach itself was closed in both directions for quite a distance. We verified with the construction company that they provided proper notice to the condo owner and Vacation Homes Collection, but we were given no notice and no alternate options. And when we brought this issue up they basically told us to just go use the public beaches down the road. Which is completely not the point of booking and paying for a beach front condo with private beach access. No credit for the inconvenience or failed communication. **I would advise caution booking any property with Vacation Homes Collection as communication and lack of customer service will be an issue.** As for the condo itself, I've stayed in better and I've stayed in worse, it was dated and needed some repairs / a good cleaning. But that would have been tolerable if we had gotten what we paid for with the direct beach access.
