Magnolia on the Hill

Location is great, the property is fully furnished with a lot of things. Spacious and airy garden and living room with amazing views to the city.

The responsiveness from the host could have been better. There are many amenities in the house, but some of them are not usable: it is advertised that the coffee is provided, but there is nothing to make it with - capsule machine was broken and never replaced and the filter coffee machine was just nasty and not usable. Washing machine is mouldy and smells bad so you can't really use that either. In the facilities it is mentioned an outdoor fireplace that you apparently cannot use - after the check-in we got the information that it is for "decoration only". Only one bed is good, the other ones are worn out and way too soft. Also, the water in one of the two bathrooms didn't work. We got the offer to get it fixed on the last day, but at that point it was just annoying to deal with all the small problems. I would not stay here again for the price they are asking.

Beautiful views, really cute house for a nice weekend in or for much needed walking around the neighborhood. Short walks to food, coffee, books and bakery.

The view was amazing and the house was fantastic!

No complaints about the property but it might be helpful to provide more hints or guidance to visitors about how to get around town and where to catch the local buses.

We loved our stay! Charming home in quaint, quiet neighborhood with amazing views of downtown Seattle. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Would definitely stay here in the future and recommend to anyone.

Great place! We loved it so much. There is such a great view from the living room of the Seattle skyline. We have visited Seattle many times but never been to this part of town. It was nice to be close and see so many new things. The TV room was great and the whole family hung out and played games in there. We definitely recommend and were sad to leave.

Nice place and plenty of room. Well kept and just an overall great experience

Very comfortable and cozy with so many lovely personal touches anywhere my eye landed. The outdoor sitting area was beautiful and peaceful. I loved having coffee outside as the sun came up. The hosts were quickly responsive and very helpful. We did not cook but had we wanted to literally every pot and spice I can imagine were available Beds were comfortable and smelled and looked clean. Only consideration might be if you have trouble carting things like luggage up steps there are quite a few to get in. Not a problem for me as we were having a girl weekend (3 daughters spaced around country and myself) and my girls are strong and carried my suitcase easily. What a wonderful place to stay. The downtown area in Magnolia is great we bought coffee and pastries and fresh fruit and books and well a local cider each but we only drank one which was excellent. Five plus stars.

Nothing except maybe steps if I would have had to carry my own suitcase. It would not deter me from coming back even if I had to partially unpack on sidewalk and make several trips up.
