The parking and access was as advertised and the bedroom/living room area was clean, relaxing and comfortable. My issues are around the bathroom & kitchen area. The bathroom ceiling is very low. I am 5'2" and could touch the ceiling. The shower curtain was old and dirty looking and it was too long for the space so that you kept stepping on it. The shower itself had a very small entry, maybe 18" and the shower itself was 3' x 3'. The floor in front of the shower had a rusty drain and the floor in the rest of the bathroom did not look clean. I wore flip-flops when showering and walking in the bathroom. Water never fully drained from the shower after use. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and very little hand soap in the kitchen. There was only 1 bath towel to use. I had to go buy an extra towel and hand soap. In the kitchen there were no plates and very few utensils. I purchased paper plates. The items available to clean the dishes were several old, dirty sponges. The toaster was dirty enough that it set off the smoke alarm when I tried to use it. The entry was rough and you can't adjust the temperature of the room. My last night, the power went out at 7 PM and was not back on at 6 AM when I left. Luckily I had a headlamp but a basement apartment should have a flashlight or something.
