The Home Collection CLT: Lamar Avenue

The fully equipped kitchenette and massive couch were great. The apartment's proximity to walkable restaurants and bars was also a plus.

The walls aren't the thickest so you'll hear the other guests stomping around if you're on the first floor.

Excellent location, within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The lightrail going to Uptown is just a 5 minute walk away. The appartment is tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you need to make it a home away from home. Service is friendly and very responsive to requests.

First off, this place is CUTE. Incredibly comfortable stay with a beautifully soft bed. We slept like a dream. Super close and walkable to all kinds of stuff in Plaza Midwood and Elizabeth. Cute kitchen, comfy living room. Great AC for those hot charlotte days. Plenty of space. It is on the second floor and they have private parking. Easy keyless entry so check in was a breeze and you don't have to worry about carrying around a key. Smart tvs in both the bedroom and living room. Didn't have to worry about there not being enough linens or cooking utensils, they provided everything you need. It was very clean and tidy without being a sterile feeling hotel environment. A few things to note are the bathroom is kinda small/no frills and right off the bedroom if privacy is a concern. The couch is also very very low to the ground. Neither of these things impacted our stay but definitely worth mentioning.

Just a bit dark, could benefit from more lighting. Shower water pressure not good, and seems the faucet handle needs repair. This did not prevent us from bathing, just am inconvenient.

The property was nice but we had problems with the entry codes and had to resort to using the door keys located in the lock box which we then had to get the code to use. The property did have a minor bug issue that needs to be resolved. The property was in a nice, older neighborhood and not within easy walking distance of dining options. However, it was close to the family we were visiting so the over-all location was good.
