Bury St Edmunds - Apartment - Sleeps 2 - Parking

The bed and sofa, the kitchen, the giant television, the marble decor everywhere, was all very "lavish" and lived up to expectations. The wifi worked very well. It was a very quiet location with no traffic noise or neighbours. It was conveniently located near the train station, the bus station and the shops, and the general area was quite pleasant. Everything was spotlessly clean, and apparently quite new too. The rooms were pretty spacious.

It was always cold. The heating worked briefly one lunchtime, but I couldn't get it to work for the life of me, on timer or manual. This in turn meant that I couldn't do any laundry, and even having a wash was uncomfortable. I had to keep going out to warm shops. Fortunately, the weather wasn't too cold or it would've been quite intolerable. The television is great regarding its size and channels available, but it was the most complicated one I've ever used. Trying to get keys out of a lockbox in the dark was somewhat frustrating too. Loads of dog ends by the Mews gate was hardly welcoming either. Decor is a bit grey and depressing too.

Modern, clean apartment, perfect for a couple!

More towels would have been nice and kitchen roll for the kitchen.

The apartment was easy to find (we had clear instructions on how to find it prior to arrival) and got the keys from the key box without a hitch. Apartment itself was as described online/in pictures and was located on a lovely street with lots of coffee shops and boutiques right in the centre of town.

Can't complain, if I had to suggest something it would be for a few more hanging hooks around the apartment for towels/coats!
