Bury St Edmunds - Apartment - Sleeps 2 - Parking

The location was good. They provided parking permits for 2 days but we managed to park outside from 5pm and all of Sunday as there were no restrictions. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

We were only there for one night but it was fine for us

Provide paper towels in kitchen.

Clear communication/instructions from the host for check-in

Lack of wardrobe to hang clothes in the bedroom, or hooks in the bathroom for towel/clothes

The property was stylish, the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on a stayover and it was immaculate.

Nothing to complain about, I had a very comfortable stay.

Bed was comfortable enough once you have removed the myriad of pillows and shower despite going hot and cold every few seconds had good power. This is where the good part stops!

What the property should have advertised was Local Parking "impossible". I drove round so many times a strange area, I didn't know, trying to find parking. I couldn't even double park just to unload all my stuff so when I did finally find a parking space, I had to make three trips back and forth. This should have been made REALLY clear that parking is difficult, or pretty much non existent. I'm only glad it was light, because if this was winter, I would have been really worried about walking the streets here in the dark. Despite the SA next door, this didn't look like a nice place to be walking around. It's also down an alley way which leaves you feeling very vulnerable. It seems if you wanted wifi you had to pay £4.99 for an hour. This brings me on to the TV. The one very basic necessity to stay here given that it's a room and a TV that the TV just didn't work. You got to watch around 30 seconds of a program before the wifi starts whirling around and most of the time you get "something went wrong" it just didn't have enough connection to work which means you are just sitting in this mix matching of chinz infested room and not even a TV in the bedroom to relax. Supposed to be here for work so needed a comfortable place I can relax for a couple days when not on duty and it was just not a place you could relax. I was bored with no TV to watch. I would be even more disappointed if I was to use this for a leisure break, especially when you hear the thumps of upstairs walking around. Whilst I'm moaning, my Slippers kept sticking to the floor despite it seemed clean. the cheap made Formica wardrobe couldn't take long clothes, had to use the curtain pole to it didn't get creased. There was a comb and hairbrush left, like anyone would use someone else's brush. Looking at the pictures you think it would be nice, but it just wasn't. Certainly wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
