Modern 1 bed studios for comfy stay in Preston

Nicely laid out compact good use of space. Shower great comfy bed

Kitchen window didn’t shut and lightbulb missing in lamp but neither took away from the stay could have done with a sofa the two chairs a bit shabby but functional

Location was perfect for me. The apartment provided all I required. Clean and tidy inside.

The locking system of both the main and apartment doors was frustrating. The cleanliness in the common areas could be improved.

The room was clean and tidy and had all amenities

We were rudely awoken every morning with either a couple next door rowing at 6am, doors slamming at 6am onwards and a baby crying all night upstairs. We considered sleeping in the car by the 2nd night as we were so tired. The location was ok, but the cost was astronomical at £225 per night. The outside was full of rubbish and although parking was advertised as plentiful in the side streets, there wernt any. We managed to get on the drive but had to park on top of timber boards. The hallway was dirty with lots of litter

The property is big and and easy excess it’s convenient to go to the city centre

The property need to be upgrade a little bit need to be cleaned up properly

location was very good . shower room and bathroom good. complimentary tea and coffee appreciated

Bed was too low for me . worst thing was fridge-freezer. fridge managed to freeze , milk, orange juice even fruit.- even on lowest setting. Armchairs should be replaced, as the covering on both chairs was breaking up

- The location was close to the University buildings I needed to get to. - I liked that it was on a floor of it's own. - The bed was comfy.

- The smell of the room; I thought it smelt like cannabis due to the building (especially downstairs) smelling strong of cannabis. When my partner came up to visit me, he said that it didn't smell of cannabis but urine. I even tried to elimate the smell by opening up the windows but this didn't get rid of it. It hit you as soon as you opened the main door to the studio. - The cleanliness wasn't great. I had to clean the desk as when I set my things down on it and started to study it was sticky. There were finger marks on the kitchen door. When I stripped the bed linen when I left, I noticed only two pillows had pillow protectors with one pillow and the duvet stained. Some bits were in the shower. The washing up bowl in the kitchen sink still had water in it and there was food in the plug hole and sink when I lifted the bowl up. The crockery and utensils were dirty meaning I had to clean everything before I used it. There were bits in the fridge. The bedside tables were dusty. The one window leaked - when it was raining the water was dripping from the ceiling onto the window cill. The ceiling had water damage from where it had been leaking. The mirrors were smeary. - There were no instructions on how to use the wall panel heater. - A maintenance guy came and did some work without me being made aware beforehand. This was when I was at university and not in the studio. Luckily my partner was there to let him in however what if he hadn't had been? Did the maintenance guy know the code to the studio where all my personal belongings were? - The fire alarm went off at 4am and woke me up. One of the residents on the ground floor was trying for over 10 minutes to turn it off which caused distress to my dog who stayed with me. The resident's partner apologised and said it was due to her having a shower however the smell of cannabis made me think otherwise...
