Portway Nook - 1 Bedroom Studio - Bishopston

Location, parking, cleanest,

No table to eat at.

Could not fault this little nook! Great location, secure parking, easy check in & out. All things catered for, e.g coffee machine, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, all was supplied and well thought of. Great large bathroom with plenty of towels, exceptionally clean. Bed was super comfortable also!

Maybe less small accessories to allow to utilise space more for luggage otherwise nothing, really loved it.

Clean and well decorated. Lovely big bathroom with good shower. Good tea and coffee making facilities.

Choice of lighter bedding. There were lovely warmer bedding items but a sheet option rather than duvet would have been good.

Comfortable for a couple of nights stay..

Good shower. Parking space. Variety of breakfast snacks

Bed too small, sofa too low. No upright chair, nor grab rail in shower, nor by patio access door (guest uses sticks) A bread / serrated knife would have been very useful.

Excellent accommodation and very well kept, bathroom was clean and had a lovely walk in shower

Being picky I would say the two seater chair was worn and a bit dirty

Location was great, nice and tucked away but easy access to Swansea, Mumbles, and Rhossili for days/nights out. The room was perfectly sized for us as we were out most of the time, but had enough space to relax with the TV in the evening, plenty of dvds and Netflix/Prime etc. Plenty of tea/coffee/snacks for when we arrived which was lovely after a long drive. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom is huge and lovely, plenty of towels and even some feminine products for emergencies which was a thoughtful touch. The agent and host were excellent at sorting out an issue when we arrived which was not their fault.

The only thing that would stop us staying here again is that there is a door joining onto another part of property and there was a dog which would scratch against the door in the morning for quite some time.
