Tucker at Sheridan Ocean Club Fort Lauderdale

Its was a perfect apartment that fit my needs. The washer and dryer was what i needed after coming off of a trip and staying a few days in Florida before going home. The communication via text was on point. The response was quick. Walmart and Kroger are in walking distance. The movie theater and restaurants and close via Uber. My feet aren't that strong!

Good location. Cockroaches in kitchen

Property was fairly nice. Apartment inside and building outside could use a deep clean. Touch ups could be done. All cosmetic but you can see that it is starting to get run down. Pool was closed with no notice on the website so that was disappointing. We asked someone that worked there if there were other pools, they said no but we later found out that there were 2 other pools on the property. Customer Service was excellent when we asked them about it and they rectified the situation. Some stores are within walking distance but didn’t notice any restaurants that we could walk to.

Really liked the property, other than trash bags being at the front door when I arrived.

Clean & comfortable

This accommodation was well located for our needs. I would not describe the apartment as "Deluxe" though. It is a little dated and the apartment was basic, with only the minimum kitchen items, no mixing bowls etc., so difficult if you want to make up your own food rather than ordering in. This is my only criticism however, as the apartment is well located and easy to access. It might be an idea to have a booklet available in the apartment outlining how to access the gym, use the basketball/tennis courts etc. A good stay and I would stay again.

I cannot post a positive review. Beware all pickleball players. False advertisement. The only reason we booked this property is because they advertised 2 pickleball courts on-site, which is not true. They have 2 tennis courts, but neither court is taped nor marked for pickleball play. The property advertises 2 pickleball courts behind the leasing office, diagrams that show 2 courts. The only court behind the leasing office is 1 tennis court. There are in fact, NO pickleball courts on-site. You cannot play pickleball on a tennis court unless it is converted with the appropriate lines for pickleball play. The off-site management company (KASA) says there are 2 pickleball courts. There is NOT.

Unit was filthy when we arrived. Pots, pans, plates, kitchen table, nightstand all still had food all over them. Pans were in the caninet but hadnt been cleaned. No kitchen hot water. Had to do dishes in the bathtub. Kitchen faucet was leaking under counter. Washing machine was so noisy we thought the neighbors were going to complain as we ran cloths wash as we went to bed. Bad move. Cleaners and maintenance came back the next day. Said the hot water issue was fixed but it was not. Requested a room change and did not hear back til the evening and it was too late.

Majority of my stay with Tucker was great, till the morning of. Checkout me and my family is inside our unit. And when we wake up housekeeping is in the unit and staring to clean, leaving blinds open and our apartment door open which any one could came and walked in and caused use harm. When I contacted the property I wanted to speak to someone because I wanted to be compensated for what happen and they would not let me speak to anybody hire up.

This place and experience was horrible, unsanitary conditions and lack of work, my 5 year old son suffers from allergies when theirs a lot of dust. My son got sick from staying here because the ceiling fan has dust, floor was really dirty, the rug was filthy dirty, everywhere dust mice. I don’t recommend family to stay here with children. I have a strong feeling that their reviews are bought out or spam fake. I have pictures to proof what I had to experience with my child and clean after their responsibilities and job duties, workers rather be on their phone then working and maintaining high sanitation standards. Terrible this place put my child in a bad health condition, no efffort from staff to try to help us out in any type of way and I didn’t bother asking neither waste of my time because my child health come first.
