Gardenside, free private parking included, Bowness

The rooms are nice and big. Both bedrooms have reasonably sized wardrobes. The bathroom is big with ample hot water. It is a relatively easy walk down to the lake, but uphill back lol.

The towels could be bigger. The floor was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. The sofas are very very low and a less mobile member of our party could not use them and had to sit on the very hard dining chairs. There is no rail to help step into the bath/ shower.

the messages from the host took some time to reach me - down to booking .com. this meant phone calls were neccessary to the host , these were answered promptly and very helpful

The apartment was extremely comfortable for our family of four, lovely decor and comfortably furnished. Location is good and parking was easily available. The host was very responsive, the refrigerator was left to defrost when we checked in as the team thought we were arriving a day later, but a message to the host and this was extremely promptly attended to.

Cosy and sparkling clean home with very well equipped kitchen.

Bathroom ventilator cum light was a bit noisy but manageable.

Well equipped unit in a quiet area. Very comfortable mattress. Very helpful host
