The Jazz Loft

I love the stairs to the bed it was something new & different.

In the marketing picture was a bottle of wine. There was no wine when I got to the property. That wine was the reason I got the room.

I like that it was walking distance to Sanford, however there is no control over the temperature and it was freezing each night. We could not sleep. Also, the beds were not comfortable. The stairs to the loft were unstable.

Perfectly located within walking distance from downtown Sanford. Lined with beautiful live oak trees filled with Spanish moss. I love historical locations. The Jazz Loft house was built in 1894. It was very clean with a kitchen and a jazz motif including jazz inspired graffiti and real jazz instruments on the wall.

The bed in the loft was a bit cramped to get into.

Great spot close to downtown Sanford. By close I mean right around the corner. A funky and fun room. It was cold and there is no central AC or Heat, but there was a little space heater that quickly warmed the room, in fact I had to turn it off because it was so warm. I read about the bathroom sink and yes, it is weird. You will get wet so SLOWLY turn the water on. Yes the spiral staircase feels sketchy, but that was part of the fun of the space and we laughed so much about it. The only "issue" we had were the colored lights that randomly turned on and off that illuminated the ceiling. I wish we. Iuld have controlled them because it would have set a nice relaxing vibe for the weekend. Would I book it again. Yes, and quickly. 4/5 Would reccomend

Very clean and cute! It was walking distance to the historic area and food spots. Perfect for someone like me who doesn't drive, but has family in the area to visit. It was also nice & quiet. Loved it!
