Studio Annex

We needed an affordable place in or near Cambridge for a couple of nights and it was the most sensible option we found. It is about 20-30 minutes by car from Cambridge. You get your own little cottage, with a kitchen, some space with a sofa-bed and a bathroom - everything nice and clean. The check in was very easy (keys in the safe box) and clear instructions via email/text. The hosts were friendly and forthcoming.

The sofa bed was the biggest downside.

Everything worked for cooking. Pleasant sitting out area outside.

Slight hiccups with telly.

The location was excellent for my needs

The location had a safe key box. This was easily retrieved but we posted them in the wrong box at the end of our stay which was reported to owners, who in fact discovered this when they could not find the key. This was a problem for them rather than us, it all worked well. The owners were on hand to guide parking. Off road parking secure.

I think the description whilst it does describe the property it should be made clearer that it would be more comfortable for 3 adults rather than 4. The sleeping space is the only issue and is fine for two young children but it is a bit of a squeeze for four adult sized people. We therefore did not actually stay at the property but made the decision to drive back to Wales that night. Parking was very tight so beware if you have a big vehicle. We had a Q2 Audi and found it a bit of a squeeze.

The Studio Annexe was a fabulous little base for our long weekend. The owners had thought of everything you may need for your stay, and were very easy to contact. Instructions when arriving were clear, and easy to follow. The area itself is a lovely quiet spot just outside Cambridge. We enjoyed a day out visiting the museums, and coming back and being able to cook a family meal.

Very convenient for our needs. Easy access, with on-site parking. Lovely shower. Nice to have front & back doors and opening windows. We opted to sleep on the loft space rather than setting ip sofa bed each night .... a real novelt and fun for our 2 night stay Hosts have managed to fit a lot into a small space!

Would have liked straight forward live TV channels! Found all the mirrored cupboard doors a little disconcerting

Liked everything about it the location the accommodation can't fault it in anyway would definitely stay again.
