Gorgeous Apt with Rooftop City View

There was no breakfast.

No hand soap except for a tny tube of body wash the size of a humming bird. It was .005 ounce No wash clothes No coat hangers in the front closet finally found some hidden in the back closet There was a strong fabreeze type smell very prevalent like it was trying to cover up odor.

The location is unbeatable.

Noise issues: It seems that a lot of construction has been going on and I was woken up at 8am due to the noise sounding like a worker hammering the walls. Cardboard covers the elevators’ walls and floor and makes me feel like I was living in a construction site, not home. The agent (We Host) was responsive to my messages during my stay, but there were some issues. First, unauthorized enter into my room occurred. I found that the vacuum cleaner’s plug was distorted, so I asked to bring another one. It should have taken place after I authorized the staff’s entry and so did the agent told mr. However, when I came back to my house at that night, the vacuum cleaner was placed in the kitchen, which I didn’t. It turned out that there was an unauthorized entry by the staff. I lost my trust in the agent due to this event as I knew that they neglected following the basic yet principle code of conduct. (PS They didn’t bring new one, but they just distorted the plug in the opposite direction so it will fit into the plug……It appeared unprofessional.) The property has been undergoing substantial renovation and the noise in day time will make your feel unrested. The elevators smell like cardboard) This point should be noted so the customers can be better informed.

It’s is well layed out with accommodating furniture. It’s also in a great location.

Upgrades on towels and toilet paper would match the quality of the apartment. Also, kitchen needs a dish towel. The listing needs to be amended. There’s major construction going on and my stay was incredibly noisy. This isn’t the owners fault, but I do feel it is their responsibility to let people know what is going on over there before renting it, instead of the day before you check in when you are outside of your cancellation window. Also, I think pictures need to be Updated for fall and winter stays. The rooftop that is advertised is closed, as well as the pool.

Excellent location, 2 min to Pentagon City Metro station and the fashion mall. Whole Foods and a nice coffee shop 10 min away. Right next to the park. The building is fine, the reception desk is polite, the appartment is furnished and equipped nicely. I also liked the balcony

The cleaning service is clearly not doing a good job at all. The floor was VERY DIRTY:filthy, sticky! The kitchen counter was dirty and the dishes were not washed in a washing machine (which is right there). Everything in the apartment has a patina of poor cleaning, the walls, the windows, everything... The smell of cheap cleaning products is horrible - they just sprayed the space and not cleaned it. It needs a thorough deep cleaning. So, to make it a truly excellent accommodation they should hire a real cleaning service. It is a shame because the furniture and the kitchen is reasonably new and throughtfullly selected for a short term accommodation.

The location is in close proximity to our children's residence. The location is so convenient to really anywhere you want to go in the D.C. area. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and there's so much to see and do within blocks of this property.

The only thing I would ask for next time are hand towels and washcloths in the bathroom (I had to borrow from my daughter-in-law). A kitchen towel in the kitchen along with a few more essential items in the kitchen would be wonderful.

Place is amazing - very clean and prepared in the way that you have everything what you need for your stay. Diana was a perfect host. She was very responsive and helpful. She guided us thought the check in and check out process and was available 24hr. She even called me during the stay to check if everything is fine - that never happened to me in other places. All instructions sent prior arrival were super clear and we easily found the keys and parking pass. Location is great with many restaurants and stores around. It's very safe neighborhood. Only few steps from the building there is a metro station from which you can get to DC downtown in just a few minutes. Underground garage is safe and easy to access.
