We have just returned from our stay at this apartment and unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. It is advertised on Booking.com as twin bedded with sofa bed which is what we required as it was myself & my ex husband visiting our daughter, not at all happy to find bed made up as a double with instructions not to separate it ourselves due to it getting broken!! No problem we thought one can have the sofa bed, no again, there were strict instructions not to move the glass coffee table so we couldn’t pull out the sofa bed!!! My ex husband spent 2 very uncomfortable nights sleeping on a sofa, he is 6’2’’, he did not sleep well. Bathroom needs a good clean, mould around the shower tap area, and shower screen needs cleaning properly around the seals, there were cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling which I removed with my crutches as didn’t fancy the spider coming back to his home above my head.

Exactly like the pictures. Very spacious rooms, felt very comfortable in a quiet residential area.

Sadly I won’t be returning. Why? My first night was very uncomfortable as I couldn’t get the heaters to turn on and it was below 0 outside. I called the number provided and there was no answer and no voicemail! I sent an email, then hourssss later I found the controller - it was in the frigging hallway, nowhere near the boiler or kitchen!! They have a multitude of signs around saying “no smoking in the back garden or apartment” but they don’t have a manual for guests showing how to use the heaters?!? I was also promised by the hosts via email that there would be a king size and not 2 singles put together. When I got there, it was 2 singles put together…. But the straw that broke the camels back for me is on my second night I came back to the apartment to discover that someone had entered the apartment!!! The heating had been turned off - this was the weekend in Dec when it has snowed really bad in East Mids and one of the bed covers had been removed from the bedroom. This is something Id expect at a hotel if I forgot to put the DND sign on the door, but on booking.com?! It made me so uncomfortable as I had all my personal belongings there. Very disgusting and a breach of my privacy, so I won’t ever book here again
