Banana Eco Camp

Jedná se o naprosto fantastické ubytování v banánovém háji v nové chatce, krásně vybavené, čisté a vkusné. Vedle byla i kuchyňka, kde se dalo vařit a krásně posedět u krásného dřevěného stolu. I večer zde bylo příjemně. V háji rostou banány, papaya, avokádo a další pro nás středoevropany exotické rostliny. Majitel objektu byl velmi příjemný a sympatický. Je zde i kavárna ze které je krásný výhled na oceán. Místo je blízko od hlavního města a je zde i z letiště dobrý dojezd a je to dobré místo na prozkoumání celého ostrova. Doporučujeme.

The Banana Eco Camp itself is a beautiful unique place, the cafe and breakfast is wonderful - lovely fresh food.

We stayed at the Windmill which is NOT on the Banana Eco Camp - it is located almost 2km away. We did not have a car initially which made it impossible to reach the resort itself and enjoy the facilities and the safety of being on the resort itself unless we walked 40 minutes with small children on roads with no pavements. The windmill itself is a unique accommodation but there were many flaws including poor wifi, no fan (although they did provide one after I complained), poor quality kitchen facilities (hobb didn't work), the shower blocked and overflowed after a minute in the shower and the sofa bed downstairs is very small and my two daughters struggled to sleep and they are small! Overall this is not a reflection of the resort itself and the customer service but the Windmill accommodation.

Located in a very accessible spot near the town and the sea. Easy parking. Beautiful nature all around, very peaceful. Hands-on management by family. International visitors to engage with. And a couple cats on the property - always a bonus for me.

Not a criticism but a comment, because once I made a shift of my expectations, I was indeed a very happy camper! On booking.com, something in the description led me to believe I would have a washing machine and an en suite bathroom. Although there are apparently some cabins with en suite bathrooms, most are just a bed with little place to put anything. Bathrooms and a single coin-operated washing machine are communal. The owner was very receptive when we talked about a few small changes to give guests more surface space and options for hanging stuff up.
