The apartment was comfortable and well located. It is close to Funchal, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby and a pizzeria right across the street.

There were some small ants in the kitchen, so the host might want to take care of that. The parking space is very tight, but it was very easy to find parking on the street.

Lokalita 20 min autem od centra Funchalu, takže nebyl problém se zaparkováním. Navíc k bytu náleží i parkovací místo v garáži. Byt byl při příjezdu čistý a má i terasu. V bytě je také všechno potřebné kuchyňské vybavení, pračka, žehlička atd. Z vybavení nám nic nechybělo. Pokud by vám byla zima je tam i přímotop.

Občas trochu hluk od sousedů, ale to mohla být pouze shoda náhod a v kuchyni jsme objevili 2x mravence.

Apartment is quite dark, there are two windows, however, apartment is on ground floor and footpath is right behind the window. Also, sun is coming from noon to 2 p.m., and probably it could be good in summer but escaping Nordic winter, it was a bit too little light in the apartment.

We were satisfied with our stay in these apartments. The apartment is slightly different from the photos: in person, it’s not as bright because it’s on the ground floor, and some items are older than they appear in the pictures. However, it is in good condition and comfortable enough for a long-term stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of dishes. When we realized there was no lid for the frying pan, we contacted the management company; they were very helpful and agreed to bring one for us. Location: The location is excellent. It’s a quiet building with a gated courtyard, and there are two large supermarkets, many cafes, and a beach within walking distance. Parking: As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a parking spot, but it can be challenging for less experienced drivers. Not every car will fit. On the bright side, they added foam padding on the wall, which allowed the driver to open the door safely. We are attaching a photo so you can see how tight the parking is and decide what size car to rent. We had a Renault Captur. In general, small cars are common on the island, but make sure yours is powerful enough if you plan to drive into the mountains. 
A small tip from our experience: if you are leaving the parking garage and the exterior gate doesn’t open or respond to the key, you are likely stopped too close to it. Try backing up a little; once you do, the sensor will deem it safe to open the gate. Additionally, property provide excellent instructions for everything – just make sure to review them in advance! Also, keep in mind that the keys must be picked up at a different location, which will also be specified in the instructions.

We felt that a few basic supplies were missing, such as laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, and trash bags – items that are usually sold in large quantities and aren't convenient to buy for a short stay. On the plus side, the apartment has a drying rack, an ironing board, and even a high chair for a baby. Ants do occasionally enter the apartment, especially if you keep fruit in a basket on the table. I assume this is also due to being on the ground floor, but they didn't cause us much trouble.

Sofa bed mattress needs to be changed as it was uncomfortable and more fans were required as property does not have ACs or window nets to leave windows open when it is hot
