Situation centrale mais calme. Rénovation magnifique du bâtiment tant les parties communes que privatives. Confort moderne dans un cadre authentique. Bravo aux architectes! Chambre ou dortoir? Bien choisir sa préférence selon son budget et ses envies. On a eu la chambre 6 au dernier étage avec balcon privatif et roof-top commun offrant une magnifique vue sur Ponta Delgada: idéal pour un apéritif au coucher du soleil! Bon petit-déjeuner même si identique tous les jours. Excellent wi-fi. Le système de code d'accès pour la porte de rue et la chambre. Le marché quotidien (sauf dimanche) avec les meilleurs ananas du monde et des légumes de l'île ou du Portugal est juste en face! Cuisine commune bien pratique pour se cuisiner un bon petit plat sans devoir aller au restaurant tous les jours: super équipement!

Service hôtelier pas parfait: on a dû plusieurs fois demander des nouveaux essuies, le ménage et les poubelles pas faits tous les jours dans la chambre. Alors, on est d'accord que ce n'est pas un hôtel mais plutôt un HOSTEL mais vu qu'il y a AUSSI des chambres privatives, ce serait bien d'améliorer le room service. Il n'est pas acceptable de devoir se débrouiller tout seul pour avoir du papier wc! Le prix pour les chambres devrait être un peu revu à la baisse si le room service n'est pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel. Le personnel du SKY PDL n'est plus présent en après-midi et en soirée ce qui crée un petit sentiment d'abandon de la clientèle.

Ein sehr neues (oder renoviertes) Hostel. Alles sauber und schick eingerichtet. Ich hatte das Glück, ein 6-Bett-Zimmer nur für mich alleine zu haben. Das Bad ist angenehm groß und man hat Ablageflächen, was mir in anderen Hostels oft gefehlt hat.

Amazing place! i stayed in the single room on the top floor which was amazing with a balcony and next to the public terrasse which provides great views at sunrise. all revonated and clean, highly recommended.

everything was great really!! just a tiny improvement: would be great to have a little tray in the shower to put your personal products on.

A wonderful stay close to all amenities, I found this hostel very clean and comfortable the family that run it were very kind and friendly. The recreational spaces where quite and well looked after. More of a hotel than a hostel. I would recommend it anytime. 😊

This hostel has a variety of room options (some have terraces) and both the rooms and the common spaces are newly-renovated, well-designed and comfortable! There is also a roofdeck with a spectacular view of Ponta Delgada. The property is a renovated multi-storey 1930's townhouse with a central mahogany staircase (and elevator) that has been in the same family since 1961.The grandson manages the place and is very knowleadgeable about tours and very responsive to requests. Breakfast is included and delicious. The clientele is international and a variety of ages. I highly recommend staying here.
