Lemon Hostel Faro

It was a good location and the double room was spacious. The air conditioning was a life saver and could be modified by us in the room.

I tried to get in touch with them for about a month about a late check in, which they only replied to on the day of our arrival. The bathroom on the first floor had black mould all over the ceiling. The double room we were in was spacious but could have done with a seat. It was only the bed to sit on and the mattress was really sunken due to being sat on a lot. The WiFi did not work in the room. The door to our room had a frosted glass window, so when the hall light was on it was very hard to sleep because light crept through. Not everyone who stayed was particularly mindful of the quiet hours, and noise travels a lot in the hostel. By the photos I was hoping we would have a little balcony to ourselves but we did not.

O quarto era bem arejado e claro. Estava limpo e possuía uma mesa e cadeira que foram ótimos para o trabalho.

Simple hostel, clean, fresh, friendly. Faro is super chill and the hostel matches the vibe. Loved the lemon tree in front.

We had selected this hostel specifically because it was mentioned on the description there was private parking. Unfortunately they had only one spot and it was taken, something I wish I had known beforehand.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza in questo ostello è stata molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Gli ambienti comuni e le camere non erano particolarmente puliti e davano un’impressione generale di scarsa manutenzione. I bagni necessiterebbero di maggiore attenzione, sia per quanto riguarda l’igiene sia per lo stato delle strutture.

Nel complesso, il rapporto qualità-prezzo non mi è sembrato soddisfacente. Con qualche miglioramento nella pulizia, nell’organizzazione e nell’attenzione agli ospiti, l’esperienza potrebbe essere decisamente migliore.
