Lemon is the rare hostel with both dorms and private rooms, combining the social life of a hostel (my preference) with the desire for privacy and and en suite bathroom (my partner's minimum). Everything was very good. Street parking is tight, but fairly easy. Quiet residential neighborhood. Two shared kitchens, washing machines, nice common areas. Not in the center but a modest walk away. We didn't try their 10€ dinner. Had our schedule been less constrained, we would have stayed longer and explored Faro and the Formosa River Natural Park more. Our double room was a reasonable value at 53€ for two, Sunday, mid-April (only 7€ more than two dorm beds). An added bonus: free cancellation anytime! Book ahead with confidence that you can back out.
